The Road Hogg With DNA of the most effective stage amp in the history of Rock and Blues (a certain legendary amp known for the sexy gold plexiglass control panel), the Road Hogg gets the job done on stage sitting beautifully in the mix, punching through with majestic authority. We've taken this classic topology and extended the capabilities to allow more tonal flexibility and better pedal compatability than it's original inspiration
The Road Hogg comes in a variety of power packages to suit your needs for headroom and overall volume:
Road Hogg 50: Big, loud, with more clean volume that the other Hoggs. Great for clean foundation for a pedal platform, and if you really need to go primal and open it up, the natural power section crunch is majestic as expected from a 50 watt Plexi.
Road Hogg 37: Lower plate voltage, less filtering and the power supply, and the classic Radio Spares like the 37-ish watt amp with "45" in it's name. This Hogg offers amazing touch sensitivity, earlier breakup than it's 50 watt brother, and delivers so many classic tones you've had in your head for 4 decades.
